Rep. Mark Harmsworth talks with KIRO about governor’s plans

Rep. Mark Harmsworth, R-Mill Creek, talked with Dori Monson on KIRO about the governor’s plans to rectify traffic problems on I-405.  He also addressed continuing concerns about toll lanes on the thoroughfare.  Harmsworth has been an outspoken critic of how the Department of Transportation has handled complaints from the public.  He has also repeatedly addressed concerns about leadership at WSDOT.  The head of that agency, Lynn Peterson, was recently removed from her job by a Senate vote, and a search is underway for her replacement.
